Choose the Good Part

In the quiet village home, two sisters faced the same Guest: one hurried about with the cares of serving, anxious and troubled by many things; the other simply sat at His feet and listened. Jesus did not rebuke the work itself, but revealed the greater need—the one thing that cannot be taken away. So it is with every heart that hears the Word: the kingdom’s mysteries are given to those who draw near, while the rest remain busy with life’s noise, seeing yet not seeing, hearing yet not understanding. Choose the good part.

"He that has ears to hear, let him hear. And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand."
